KNIGHT


     

This 32 foot by 23 foot all tile mural was made for CalBaptist University in Riverside, California.
This school logo Knight and Horse are made of various colors of tile, cut and fit  in the Intarsia style
while the background uses  traditional mosiac grout joints. It was installed on the outside of the gynasium
wall and overlooks their swim facility. The Rider's armor is made of real silver glazed tile.  The decorations
on the horse's bridle and the cross on the Knight's sheild, are real gold glazed tile.  The armor often
subtly changes color, hue and intensity because it reflects the variations of color of the clouds and the sky.
